The Fallaize family founded Pest Control Operators Insurance. Their practice has been working with small to midsize business since 1959 and many relationships have spanned three generations. Cal’s works closely with his clients becoming a part of their management team and helping the business to make informed risk decisions that include property and casualty insurance, worker’s compensation insurance,   business continuity planning, alternative risk financing, risk strategy formation, and safety and HR resources.

Cal graduated with honors from Georgia State University with a concentration in Risk Management, and Philosophy. Cal has ten years of experience in the property and casualty industry. He quickly earned multiple high designations from the National Alliance of Insurance, and was granted a councilor designation by the Georgia Insurance Department a full two years ahead of the minimum required experience level. Cal is a workers compensation specialist, seeking out companies that have issues controlling claim cost and frequency in their workforce. Cal holds the following designations; Certified Insurance Councilor (CIC), Certified Workers Compensation Advisor (CWCA), and Certified Risk Manager (CRM). The CRM is held by less than 1% of all insurance professionals. Cal lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife and Daughter and  in his free time enjoys traveling, golf, and cars.

Marty Schlake

Operations Manager & Lead Customer Service Consultant

Marty has over 30 years of experience writing insurance for pest control operators. Marty worked as an underwriter at THOMCO, a division of Markel Insurance, underwriting their Workers Compensation  pest control program. As an underwriter at Firemans Fund Insurance Company, Marty handled their specialized program for Pest Control in several SE States. Marty excels at insurance carrier negotiation. Having been on the underwriting side, she understands what carriers are looking for and how important the presentation of your account can be to obtaining the best available terms. Marty lives in Canton, GA and enjoys golf and spending time with her granddaughter.

David Irwin

Vice President, CIC, AU Business Development Division

David Irwin is Vice President of Business Development for Keystone Insurers Group. He has over 20 years of insurance experience. Mr. Irwin specializes in risk analysis, multi-state and international coverages for workers compensation, and audits for casualty lines of business including general liability and workers compensation.

Prior to joining Keystone, Mr. Irwin was the Chief Operating Officer for a large independent insurance agency in western Pennsylvania. He served as the Underwriting Manager for a large regional insurance carrier in the Mid-Atlantic region. He is a graduate of Gannon University with two BS degrees in Business Management and Accounting. He holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Associate in Underwriting (AU) designations. David is active with the United Way, Kiwanis, and serves as the current President of the board for LPGC.

Ralph Sitterson

Vice President Claims Management

Ralph Sitterson leads the Claims Management Division of Keystone Insurers Group. He regularly spends his workdays reviewing large losses to ensure proper investigation through his use of experts and possible defenses. He works in conjunction with insurance companies and third party administrators (TPA) to insure proper claims handling. Mr. Sitterson works with clients to develop improved initial claim reporting, gathering of information and securing names and contact information of witnesses. For example, he has designed extensive “slip-and-fall” procedures for large grocery store chains which have been proven to drastically reduce general liability claims paid. Mr. Sitterson also assists in identifying other courses of recovery such as enhanced subrogation and indemnification agreements.

Mr. Sitterson’s passion is to improve the management and ultimate outcome of losses through early involvement. The Claim Management Division works hand in hand with your local agent and the insurance companies to ensure the clients receive full benefits from coverages afforded under their policies.

He has over 30 years of claims management expertise and served as Claims Vice President for 15 years with a regional carrier owned by WR Berkley Corporation.

Mike Lukart

President, CSP, CWCA Risk Management Division

Michael Lukart is President of East Coast Risk Management, LLC, the Risk Management Division of Keystone Insurers Group.. Along with his team, he provides risk management consulting services to more than 150 companies in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as well as NJ, MD, OH, NC and WV. He has more than 25 years experience in the safety/risk management arena with organizations ranging from small/medium firms to large, complex multinational corporations. He holds the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Workers Compensation Advisor (CWCA) designations.

Prior to forming East Coast Risk Management, Michael held the position of Director, Safety, Health and Environmental Management for a large multinational corporation where he oversaw a staff of professionals responsible for more than 35 facilities in eight countries. He was directly responsible for the safety, health and workers’ compensation programs as well as all environmental and safety compliance efforts. He also oversaw the environmental due diligence efforts of the corporation during more than twelve manufacturing facility acquisitions and divestitures as well as corporate mergers.

Michael received his BS degree in Industrial Safety Sciences from Indiana University of PA and is actively involved in a number of professional societies and business groups.

Mark Beck

Chief Operating Officer, CSP, CWCA Risk Management Division

Mark has over 32 years of safety, workers’ compensation and human resource experience in a variety of industries. Mark graduated in 1980 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) with a BS in Safety Engineering, then went on to get his Masters in Safety from the same University. Mark also received a second Masters degree in Public Management with a concentration in Human Resources and Health Care Administration from Carnegie Mellon University. Mark began his employment in 1980 as Director of Corporate Safety for the PDM Corporation. For fifteen years, Mark was the Senior Director of Risk Management for Allegheny Health Education and Research Foundation, one of the largest non-profit hospital systems in the United States. While with AHERF, Mark managed a self insured and self-administered workers’ compensation program. Mark then worked as a Vice President for the Frank Gates Corporation; a workers’ compensation claims administrator, and finally District Manager for CorVel Corporation before coming to East Coast Risk Management. Mark also holds designations as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and a Certified Workers Compensation Analyst (CWCA). Mark has a diverse background with a concentration in Safety, Workers Compensation Claim Management, Information Systems, and Human Resources.

Aaron Black

Manager of Business Development Risk Management Division

Aaron Black is Manager of Business Development with East Coast Risk Management, the Risk Management Division of Keystone Insurers Group. Aaron earned his bachelor’s degree in Safety Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) and has gained extensive experience in the Insurance, Risk Management, Occupational Safety, Environmental and Health Profession. He has more than 15 years experience in the safety and risk management arena with organizations ranging from small/medium firms to large, complex multinational corporations.

Prior to starting with ECRM, Aaron was a Senior Risk Engineering Consultant for Zurich Insurance. He provided risk management services to numerous construction accounts to minimize losses through risk assessments, program development, management training and claims evaluations. In addition, he worked in conjunction with Underwriters and Claims Management with risk evaluation of new and existing clients. Aaron also served as the Safety Manager for a large Mechanical Contractor where he managed the Safety Program for the Pittsburgh Branch office and major construction projects. He was also a Loss Control Consultant for an insurance agent where he provided safety and risk management consulting for many businesses and oversaw the OCIP at Heinz Field during construction.

Brian Duncan

Field Director, CFP, CLU Financial Services Division

Brian Duncan is Vice President of the Financial Services Division for Keystone Insurers Group. Mr. Duncan specializes in life insurance funding and design, working with families and business owners to protect what they have worked hard to build, and transfer their wealth in the most efficient way possible while minimizing taxes.

Prior to joining Keystone, Mr. Duncan was a Market Representative of Federated Investors, a money-management firm in western Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a BS degree in Finance, and a graduate of Duquesne University with a Masters of Business Administration. He holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations, along with both the Series 7 and 66 Securities Registrations. Brian is active with the Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the board of The Call to Serve.
